Modest swimwear finally!!

With the holidays behind us, we've got to start gearing up for summer. I got this website off of a comment on the jensen's blog. What a great concept in modern and modest swim wear. No more tankinis for me....

Some Pics from Christmas..

Guess who's back....

I'm just trying to get back in the groove after Christmas and the holidays...We had a fabulous Christmas. We spent Christmas eve at a big fancy party at Brian's relatives house. We were the only ones with little kids so i'm sure we were very entertaining trying to get Jack to sit at the dinner table for more than 5 minutes. All of the kids were in town w/ their babies so we all stayed the night at Brian's parents house. There were pack n'plays in every closet and room of the house! We woke up and spent hours opening all kinds of fun presents. We're so spoiled, but it's a lot of fun. We were really bummed because we thought that Jack would be way more into Christmas this year! He had more fun pushing the princess doll stroller outside in the bushes while we did Christmas inside. We were so excited to give him his present--it's a Skuut Bike. For most who don't know what this is, it's like a miniature bike with no peddles, so they fred flinstone it with their feet and learn to balance and steer--so they learn to ride a real bike really fast without training wheels--another disappointment, it was about 2 inches too tall for him :( Those lombardis with their short legs! Brian surprised me with an iphone--which is the coolest most fun toy. I love it! I got him an electric long board that weighs 50lbs that i've been lugging around and wrapped all without him knowing. It is so fun--don't worry, i also bought him a helmet!!
That afternoon we cruised down to HB to spend Christmas night with my parents. We're so lucky to be close and not have to choose. Mom cooked a delishious turkey dinner with all the fixings and we exchanged gifts. One of which was our most cherished present this year---a portable dvd player for jack. I rank it right up there with computers and cell phones, how did we survive without it? No more headaches from car rides filled with him screamming. It's a beautiful thing!

All the awesome gifts aside--i was so grateful just to spend time with family. We feel so blessed to have such amazing examples in our lives. I have the best parents who are so giving and there for us at a drop of a hat. I could not have asked for better in-laws. Never any drama and always never ending love and support. I am so grateful for this time of the year when we get to focus on the birth of our savior and his atonement, the greatest of all gifts. Christmas is always surrounded by a special spirit where everyone is a little more kind and grateful....
